Irvine Regional Park
Can we talk about how these two picked out the most beautiful colors to wear at this location, the Irvine Regional Park, in southern California? I LOVE their photos almost as much as I love that spring is starting to make an appearance here in Utah. You know I am so done with winter. Take a look for yourself and you’ll see what I am talking about. SOOOO beautiful!!!
How They Met
Joey had been working for a pharmaceutical company when Paniz had happened to be training with the receptionist as a floater. After she first saw him in the kitchen she asked the receptionist “who is the guy with the green Hurley shirt and blazer?!” The receptionist then played Cupid and had him stop and chat every time he walked by the reception area. Later Paniz was in the kitchen eating lunch and he came and sat to eat too. They started chatting and somehow Instagram was brought up. She told him to follow her which he did and then he added her on FB too and messaged her his number! What would we do without technology!!
Love Story
She actually sent her number right back. This is not normally something she would do because Paniz says she likes to play hard to get! She was feeling a little more carefree and decided she would open up and have a little fun!It was good state of mind to be in because they soon were haning out! They hung out once with friends, but then she didn’t hear from him for 2 weeks! But the next time she was covering for the receptionist at his work again, he saw her and texted all excited and asked her to go to lunch with him. He admitted that after they had hung out and partied with all their friends, he thought maybe he had partied too hard and thought she probably wasn’t interested anymore. After that day, they hung out all the time. A month later she would meet his parents and they officially became boyfriend and girlfriend.
Falling in Love
Joey and Paniz admit that they actually started saying “I heart you” to each other soon after they started dating. They both knew the “heart” really meant “love”, but neither of them wanted to take it too fast. Paniz knew she loved Joey because she instantly wanted to be a better person for him.
The Proposal
Joey purposed on their 3 year anniversary. He told Paniz he wanted to catch the sunset and go to dinner. Little did she know he had a professional photographer posted and ready to capture his beautiful proposal at Treasure Island Park in Laguna Beach. They had a 2 hour long photo shoot after the proposal, then they went to dinner at Mozambique, where he had a booth set up with flowers. What a well laid out proposal. I’ve gotta give Joey props for that! When they got home he had more flowers and wine romantically setup. Well done Joey!
What They Love Most
Paniz says, “We get each other. We always have. From the beginning we have had certain similarities that helped us understand each other, but we also have a lot of differences that helped us grow not only as a couple but also as individuals. Not to mention, we always have a BLAST together!!”
What They Love To Do
Traveling around the globe!!! And playing any kind of game together! They said they are both very competitive so any chance they have to compete, they’ll jump on it! Whether it’s who can win the other person more stuffed animals at the fair, who can collect the most tickets at Dave & Busters, or who is best at bowling, racquetball, board games, ANYTHING!! They also dominate as a team which makes it even more fun!
Looking Forward To
Building a life together! These two have spent the majority of their lives as two halves of a whole, working on their own individual goals and aspirations. This is the point where two becomes one and they get to work alongside each other to reach the goals that they set together. I LOVE this! It’s the time when all of the most important, life changing adventures begin. It’s when the two halves finally become one whole.
