Moniker Warehouse San Diego
When it comes to wedding venues, the Moniker Warehouse in San Diego will not disappoint. I loved spending the day here with Kara and Josh on their wedding day and capturing the celebration of them starting their lives together. Plus, you’ve gotta LOVE a good shout out to America especially when it comes to converse and the groom’s choice of footwear. Not to mention, boys being boys and throwing each other in to the pool. Kara and her all girl crew, AKA bridesmaids, were looking as beautiful as ever too. I’m pretty DARN positive Kara never stopped smiling the entire day!! I don’t blame her. The wedding and day was PERFECT!!!
Bride’s Favorite Moment
Kara’s favorite part of her and Josh’s wedding day was when her father gave his welcome speech. He nailed it!! It perfectly embodied who Kara and Josh are as a couple. I think it gave everyone there a great sense of how and why the two of them fell in love! Well done!
Groom’s Favorite Moment
Josh, without hesitation, went with his favorite moment being their first look. Kara couldn’t have looked anymore beautiful!!! Josh opened up a little and told me that even though he isn’t a very expressive person by nature, seeing Kara actually took his breath away. Now that’s saying something about how beautiful she looked!
What They Want to Remember Most
The two of them agreed that they both wanted to remember the amazing feeling of having everyone they love in the same room, letting loose, and having a blast. They both appreciated SO MUCH everyone who traveled from all over the world (yes, WORLD!) to make their day that much more special. Kara couldn’t have said it better when she said, “We have the best friends and family!” I mean hey, if they’re traveling from across the world to come to your wedding, I do think they have some good ones. Am I right?
The Honeymoon
Josh and Kara snuck away to Moorea, Tahiti. They enjoyed a stay in a over-water bungalow at the Hilton Resort where they also enjoyed a Polynesian couples massage, a private dinner for two on the beach, snorkeling with sharks, and exploring the lush jungle landscape on an ATV safari. Sounds like Tahiti was also taking their breath away!
Favorite From the Honeymoon
Can I just say that all of Tahiti sounds like it would be my favorite! Josh and Kara decided that their personal favorite from the honeymoon was waking up to a gorgeous sunrise and taking a dip in the ocean from their personal deck! Hello paradise!
The Gifts
Their most unique gift was a Lazy Susan maid of seashells!
