Today I am SO excited to share this gorgeous Seattle Temple wedding with you! While it may not be a “destination wedding” in the classic sense, it certainly was a destination for me! Sabrina & Ian flew me out to Seattle for their beautiful LDS temple wedding, followed by an oceanside Lyee Yacht Club wedding reception that night. The weather was beautiful and the day was perfect.
The Wedding Day
Sabrina told me that her favorite moment from her wedding day was hearing her dad speak from his heart. She very rarely sees him cry or get very emotional so it was a real treat to see him show his love for her and Ian. When I asked Ian about his favorite moment, he said it was hearing Sabrina express her feelings to him while they exchanged rings. She HATES To speak in public so it was a precious moment he will never forget. AWWW! The moment they most want to remember about the day is dancing to their song. It was incredibly special for them because they made a promise YEARS ago that we would end up doing that very thing.
They said the most unique gift they received was a special Proclamation to the World. It was the one that was hanging in Ian’s mission apartment in Hazelton while he served in the Pennsylvania Philadelphia LDS mission. It was such a great and meaningful gift to them to serve as a great reminder that we CAN do hard things!
The Honeymoon
These lucky ducks got to do their honeymoon in two parts! First, they got to go up to a cabin in Hood Canal (which is GORGEOUS by the way), where they just relaxed, spent time rowing on the lake, playing board games, and eating a lot of food! Then for part two, they waited until October and went to Disneyland at Halloween! They are both HUGE Disney fans, so this was the absolute best! They loved just walking around Disneyland, eating all the yummy treats and holding hands as husband and wife!
This is one of my favorite weddings EVER, with two of my favorite people, in the beautiful city of Seattle. Thank you for letting me into your lives you two!
