Snowy Park City
Happy Monday! After all the snow we have received over the last week, what better way to start out a new week than with the most beautiful snowy Park City engagement session! Madison and Jonah were SO much fun and they were such great sports hiking in all the snow. We laughed practically the whole time as I fell into the snow over and over and over again! The good news is, no matter the temperatures, the deep snow, or how many times I fell…these two were incredible!
How They Met
These two lovebirds have known each other for what feels like for forever. They initially met and became best friends while in High School together, but neither of them would admit that they had feelings for each other. They saw each other through everything, dating, friends, church, tests and they each supported one another when they decided to serve missions for the LDS church. They each served and when they came home, their friendship was still there but there was also a spark! Jonah finally got up the nerve to tell Madison how he felt, and from the moment he confessed his feelings she instantly reciprocated! They went out on an official date later that week and even though they would be living long distance with Jonah moving to San Francisco, they each knew it would be worth it (and wanted it to work so badly!). Fast forward to now, there is nothing that can stop these two…not even a little bit of distance or a lot of snow!
How He Asked
Jonah is a complete romantic and wanted to take Madison by surprise! While at home over Christmas, he planned a night out at the Mission Inn to see all the Christmas lights! Little did she know that a whole elaborate plan was about to go down! Jonah had recruited his dad to be there and at just the right moment, they would be walking toward him and he would start to play the guitar. As he started to play, right THEN Jonah started singing “The way you look tonight” by Frank Sinatra. I mean how could she say no to THAT!? Anyone that goes through so much to make the proposal special and unique definitely gets an A in my book! Job well done Jonah!
I can honestly say that these two just FIT together. They are the perfect puzzle pieces! Everyone dreams of marrying their best friend and I can honestly say they truly are! The amount of laughter, the funniest stories, and the way they melt into one another had me smiling so much that even MY cheeks were hurting by the end of the session. They have seen each other through thick and thin and what an incredible foundation they have set for their marriage. I am so excited to continue on this journey with them to the day they say “I DO” and become husband and wife! The countdown is ON!
I mean, isn’t it obvious the kind of relationship they have? You can tell it is full of laughter, stories, fun and more. I mean who else would be willing to trudge through snowy Park City and have fun doing it? I’m sure he was giving me the thumbs up because I was face down in the snow or something.
