Today’s Utah family photography post is near and dear to my heart. I have been blessed to watch the Brereton family grow from the very beginning, and each time I get to photograph them it just feels like hanging out with old friends. No matter how long it has been since we have seen each other, we just pick right back up where we left off! I love that they bring out the best in me, and we always get the most amazing, REAL shots with them!I met Januari and Jess at a bridal fair (my very first one I ever did) on my birthday no less! Januari and I hit it off instantly and then Jess came in to the booth, less than thrilled to be there (but I totally get it and don’t blame him one bit)! After talking for a little while we decided to set up a full consultation for later that week! I was beyond excited at the possibility of shooting their wedding because um HELLO look how gorgeous they are together!!
Lucky for me the consult went perfect and they booked! From that point forward they have been like family. I trained with Jess in his amazing gym and got to know the groom for the very first time before I truly knew the bride. Jess is an incredible man and was about to become the best father! Januari is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside (so that’s pretty dang hot, right?).
I am THE luckiest girl to call them friends but also to get to watch their family grow year after year. I am grateful for their loyalty, and that in a sea of Utah family photographers, they always trust me. Each year I get to capture what their journey looks like and how their family continues to grow!
