Did someone say date night?! In honor of Valentine’s Day, I’m sharing some of my all-time favorite date night ideas today on the blog! And a giveaway may or may not be involved, too!
The Importance of Investing in Your Relationship
Although they can certainly feel like it, date nights are not a luxury. Rather, they’re a NECESSITY. Not only does making time for one another strengthen your friendship, but it also enhances that special emotional bond you share.
If you are married, you probably know all too well how easy it is to make excuses to not go out. Now, I’m not telling you to go and spend all the money! I’m telling you to make a habit out of showing up for each other, one-on-one, for the health of your relationship. This could be something as simple as going to get a cup of coffee, taking a walk at the park, or picking up a special dessert you both enjoy to dive into once the kids are asleep.
Date nights can absolutely be budget-friendly! That being said, I want to challenge you to commit to put date nights in your routine. You can — and should — do it!!
