Today on the blog, I am sharing sweet little Rio’s birth story! Rio is the beautiful and most recent daughter of my wonderful friends, Ryan and Eden. I am so honored that I was able to be a part of this unforgettable day as the Lee family grew by one! I hope you enjoy their story!
I have known Ryan and Eden since they were two young little lovebirds and watching their family grow has been such a neat experience for me. Eden feels like a little sister and yet someone I look up to and admire. There is nothing this girl cannot do when she puts her mind to it. She is an INCREDIBLE mother, wife, friend and entrepreneur!
I am constantly in awe of her willingness to embrace the chaos that is her life. Her twins are Blaine’s age and I think I would be in rehab or in a straight jacket if there were TWO of him! She is a rockstar on every level…and then I watched her give birth completely unmedicated. For all 3 of my kiddos, I wanted that sweet little epidural that took any and all pain away! That being said, I WAS IN TOTAL AWE OF HER! I have never seen anything like it!

Now that I am done with the phase of my life where I am having babies…being in the room when someone else delivers a precious Heaven-sent package is such an incredible honor. It is truly like witnessing a miracle. There is pain, there is crying, there is pleading, but the moment that little angel is born ALL of that quickly fades and you feel this unimaginable peace and feeling of overwhelming love enter the room. I’m telling you, it’s pure MAGIC!
But it doesn’t stop there! The icing on the cake is watching your kids meet their little sibling (in this case, sister) for the very first time! Watching their faces, their curiosity, and the love they instantly have for someone they have never met is indescribable. These boys were SO in love with their little sister and it was just about the cutest thing to see. The twins in their toddler fashion poked, prodded and ran around the room like crazy toddlers do. Big brother Knox was so calm and wouldn’t put her down. His smile was bigger that day than I have ever seen before. His little sister was FINALLY here!! Their little family was finally complete! And aren’t they just the cutest?

Do I not have the most incredible job ever?? I am so lucky to not only love what I do, but to build these friendships with my clients that I get to be there for the most amazing days in their lives.
