Beach Engagements

As you will see, Jenna and Joe invited a very special guest to help with their engagement shoot in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. The weather and the sandy landscape was PERFECT (until a crazy storm showed up halfway through their session…more on that later) for these two. Three if you count  their fur baby special guest!  Jenna was looking stunning. The colors she chose to wear complimented the landscape in a way that added to the entire ocean vibe.  What else can I say other than, these two look like they belong on the beach.

The weather

Here we are having a great time, when all of a sudden the clouds roll in and things get dark, windy, and scary FAST! We all dart for the car as the water starts coming down in BUCKETS! The whole beach practically empties out as car after car leaves. The three of us stay in hopes that we will be able to wait out the storm and still have enough time and sunlight to actually get to the part of the beach where you can see the water and horizon. Well, good things come to those who wait! Not only did we have gorgeous sunlight for a whole 20 minutes, but we had an empty beach on a summer weekend! We had it all to ourselves! These guys were such troopers, and while the last 20 minutes were a complete blur, we have photo evidence that these two are MAGIC together no matter what the circumstance! I cannot wait to be by their side when they say “I DO!” today. It’s going to be one for the books!
