Colleen and John’s fine art wedding in downtown Philadelphia was SO beautiful. Their love for one another combined with the details of their sweet day made for an unforgettable wedding experience!
Fine Art Philadelphia Wedding
Colleen and John had the most luxurious and gorgeous fine art wedding in downtown Philadelphia! Between their beautiful rooms at Le Meridien, their highly anticipated first look, and corralling their amazing bridal party to the middle meridian to take photos, it was one for the books!
Their wedding reminded me why I love first looks. I mean, what’s not to love really?!
First Look Love
First looks are a great way to not only maximize your pictures and give you a full gallery with images you LOVE of you and your significant other, but they are also a chance for the bride and groom to share sacred, private moments and take a deep breath together before the official start of their wedding. I love the honest and raw moments I am able to capture between the bride and groom without the added pressure and anxiety on their shoulders of hundreds of eyes watching them. I’ve also noticed that first looks do a great job easing nerves and help the rest of the wedding day run a little bit smoother as a result.
Fine Art FUN
Speaking of unforgettable moments, get this: John and Colleen’s reception was in an art gallery! The fine art on display in the space that held their cocktail hour was all about the human body. Imagine enjoying a cocktail or two while being surrounded by ginormous paintings and photographs of naked people. Because I’m still a teenager at heart, you KNOW I made them take a picture in front of a huge set of knockers…I’m talkin’ floor to ceiling boobs people.
Working with Colleen and John was SO much fun. I seriously love my job, folks! Which brings me to my next point: When searching for a wedding photographer, make sure you hire someone you get along with and trust for your big day. It’s so important that your wedding photographer is not just your wedding photographer, but also someone you consider a friend! It will make your wedding experience all the more enjoyable. You’ll be able to focus on being present in every single moment while your photographer focuses on capturing them.
That being said, if you’re on the hunt for a wedding photographer, give me a call and let’s grab some coffee!
