Happy Wedding Wednesday everyone! You’ve made it through the worst part of the week and as a reward, you can ogle (is that a word?) over this perfect Payson Temple wedding featuring the Mr. and Mrs. (and two of my favorite people) Taylor & Lexi! I was so excited to shoot at this temple again…it is one of my favorites. I mean, just look at this gorgeousness!
About the Bride and Groom
So, funny story. Lexi & Taylor met in 2012 at a mutual friend’s birthday in Provo. They figured out that they are both from the SAME town in Washington, grew up in the same LDS stake, had mutual friends, but had never met before! Only to run into each other for the first time in their lives 4 states away! Lexi had just moved to Orem for school and Taylor was just visiting for a week before he was going to boot camp for the Marine Corps. They met, talked, and within 24 hours, Lexi had told her mom that she had met the man she would marry someday. AWWW! Something just clicked. In the meantime, Taylor was telling all his buddies about her and told his best friend, “There’s just something about her.”
They only spent about three days together before Taylor returned home to Washington. They continued talking over the next few months via text, Facebook, etc. To make a long(er) story short(er), Taylor decided that he should serve an LDS mission rather than join the Marines…a decision Lexi fully encouraged! From the moment he entered the MTC to the day he flew home, they wrote each other every week for two LONG years. Taylor got home March 18, 2015 and it’s been more perfect than either of them could have imagined. Taylor proposed on Lexi’s birthday, August 1st!
They were married a few months later in the gorgeous Payson LDS Temple with a reception at the Castle Park Reception Center in Lindon.
