Sabrina and Ian met at an FHE (Family Home Evening) activity. His best friend was dating her best friend and they had no idea who the other was before that point! They LOVE date night…if they had to pick a favorite they would have to say dinner at a restaurant they have never been to or going to a sporting event together. Awwww!
How He Asked
Ian and Sabrina have an awesome proposal story! Ian (while they were dating) would always find ways to end up on one knee constantly, and would always ask “Sabrina? Will you….” (insert funny joke here, like “help me tie my shoe?” He did this pretty consistently and it was kind of a standing joke between them.
So, when the day came that he actually WAS serious (and had a photographer there to capture the moment at Kerry Park), she didn’t think he was serious UNTIL he pulled out the gorgeous ring she now sports on her finger! She was SO surprised and it totally shows in her reaction!
I love a groom that keeps his bride on her toes. Ian totally threw a bit of a curve ball and made this once in a lifetime moment one for the books! Ian is so fun and such an incredible guy…I can see why Sabrina waited 2 WHOLE years for Ian to serve an LDS mission and snatched him up the moment he returned!
