Meet the Family
Fun fact: I met the Bourne family while shooting a wedding in Utah. Troy walked up to me to ask if I did family sessions and if I ever traveled to California. The answers to both of his questions were YES and YES! Let me tell ya- I love a good reason to visit California because my amazing, out-of-this-world mom lives there. And as it turns out, the Bourne family lived 30 minutes from her! That being said, you better believe I planned a fun trip to California to see my mom and shoot their Riley Park session!
About the Session
Before the session, I sent the Bournes my Family Sessions: What to Wear guide (don’t worry- you can grab your copy below!). When the day of the shoot arrived, they showed up looking like they walked straight out of a J. Crew magazine. I mean…LOOK AT THEM! *cue all the flame emojis*
Fun fact: I LOVE all the places my work carries me! Whether it’s Calfornia, New York, Washington D.C., Cancun, Italy, or right here in Utah, I have been so privileged to work with the most amazing people- like the Bournes!
The Bourne’s family session took place at Riley Wilderness Park in Orange County, California, and our time together was so much fun! All of the kids had THE best manners and wee truly so well behaved. You could tell just how much they all love being around each other. I’m so glad I was able to capture these pictures for this precious family! Had Troy not walked up to me at the wedding, I would have missed out on getting to know this wonderful family.
