Sometimes, when I love a couple SO much, I often have a hard time starting or writing their wedding day blog post. It’s like I get writers block or something. I have so much to say that I don’t know where to begin. I am not exactly known for my way with words, but I am seriously blessed with the most amazing couples that deserve only the best things written about them. Sam and Krystle are exactly that…absolutely AMAZING! Both as individuals and as a couple, I can’t talk about them without smiling. I was so lucky to meet them through Krystle’s best friend Jaime, who also happens to be a talented photographer in CA! Lucky for me, when Jaime was asked to be a bridesmaid, she put me in touch with Krystle and we just hit it off immediately. I LOVED Krystle’s attention to detail and her love for all things PHOTOGRAPHY! This girl knew exactly how and where she wanted to invest her wedding budget and I was so grateful that I was chosen to capture every last detail!
Fast forward to our engagement session on the beach where Sam and Krystle fell in love, and it was MAGICAL! The way they looked at one another and snuggled right into each other was just perfect. We had SO much fun together and hearing all about their 10 year relationship was such a breath of fresh air! I LOVE that they have been through so much together and I know it will make for one incredibly strong marriage as they go through more ups and downs together.
March 12 was a day I was looking forward to for quite some time! The day it arrived I woke up early, full of the butterflies and I wasn’t even the one getting married! I knew it would be beautiful and I knew all my nerves would melt away when i walked into the room with beautiful Krystle! Sure enough, I walk in, I am greeted with a huge smile and hug and off I went to photograph her BEAUTIFUL details! The day ran so smooth with the help of her event planner Cassie, her maid of honor Nikki, and my KILLER 2nd shooter Breanna! Between the 3 of us, we brought the heat! I am so grateful to her incredible team of vendors for going above and beyond and for being such a joy to work with! Her florals were jaw dropping (SWD Florals), her dress (both of them) took my breath away, her venue was so full of charm and the food was mouth watering! I’m telling you this girl knew how to throw one killer party!!
Krystle and sam, I cannot sing your praises enough! Thank you for treating me like family. Thank you for allowing me into a part of your lives that is so incredibly special and that will forever remain special for years and generations to come. You both are two of the most amazing people I know and I am so blessed to call you my friends. I cannot wait to see the life you create together as Mr. and Mrs. Herzog!
