It’s officially graduation season! We’re kicking it off by sharing these beautiful senior portraits at Alpine Rodeo Grounds of this beautiful 2023 Graduate- Emma! We even got the chance to bring her horse Chile along for some of her portraits which ended up being such a beautiful memory captured.
Before you scroll through her gallery though, here’s a little more about Emma and her plans for after graduation!
Emma is finishing her senior year at Lone Peak High School, and she kept herself busy this year! Not only was she the manager of the boys varsity basketball team this year with a friend, she also did the CTE pathway for vet science, and competed in horse shows. She has been riding off and on since she was about five years old. Her parents thought it was a phase, but it turns out it was definitely a passion. She has been seriously riding for about 4 years now, and had her first official horse show in 2021!
We asked Emma for some of her favorites of highschool and found her favorite class was foods, her favorite teacher was Mr. Nelson, who taught creative writing, and her favorite memory was getting to hang out with her friends in Spanish class.
Emma will be off to Utah Valley University where she’s deciding if she’d like to major in business or be a nurse practitioner. Whichever she chooses, I know she’s going to succeed! She’ll keep riding and jumping whenever she gets the chance… nothing like the bond between a girl and her horse.
