Spring Pastels
We have all been patiently awaiting the appearance of spring and with that means spring weddings are creeping up on us. With earthy tones, paired with spring pastels, you’ll find the perfect color combo for any upcoming wedding. The palette of green, pale pink, blush, and peach create a beautiful and natural beauty I hope you’ll LOVE as much as I do.
The Bold
A bold navy suit presents a contrast and makes a statement among the spring pastels palette that is perfect for this time of year. Pairing a classic navy suit, with the pink hues found in all of the floral design plus the added femininity found with this lacey, deep V gown, it is no surprise that adding navy blue to the mix brings the right amount of masculinity to balance the equation. It navy wasn’t strong enough to stand on it’s own, and it is already giving all of the pastel florals that extra pop, the sage greenery also creates a beautiful bold contrast of color. Not to mention, with hints of brown peeking through the greenery it continues to add that much more of an earthy, masculine vibe.
The Cake
If you can’t appreciate how complimentary sage green and pink are then I don’t think we can be friends. Okay, just kidding. Or am I? But really, this cake is screaming spring with it’s pink blossoms and branches sprawling up across the top two tiers of the wedding cake. The bottom green tier creates a bold contrast for the blossoms against a clean white frosted and delicious background. Not to mention mimicking the bride dressed in white with her coordinating spring pastel bouquet.
The Table
I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this table setting. The details are on point and the table alone makes a statement, bringing with it the bold deep brown rustic, earthy table and the pastels encircled with greenery. Each place setting carries the spring theme throughout with simple, yet bold, Bride and Groom place holders, and the romance of candlelight.
Bringing Spring Indoors
I love a good floral design and I love it even more when it comes on paper. The spring floral design included on all of the wedding stationery brings the ideal way to continue the pastel colors and spring feeling. From the invitation, to the Save the Date cards, map, and RSVP card, it’s in all of the details keeping the theme going and making it consistent and romantic.
