I love when the light can read my mind. And the sunset light for these Utah State Capitol bridals is nothing short of DREAMY! And between Krista’s amazing wedding dress and Ryker’s immaculate tux, I am just crushing on these So. Hard. The Capitol rarely disappoints when it comes to a great place to do Salt Lake City bridals, but for these, it went above and beyond the call of duty.
Their Love Story
Krista & Ryker met in their LDS ward. They lived in the same apartment complex (and actually still live there now that they are married and work for the complex)! After meeting, they went on a first day and it was amazing! But the second date was absolutely AWFUL. Ryker actually wrote in his journal that he would never take her out again. They stayed friends and then several months later, finally decided to give it another shot. That one went great and they kept dating and eventually got engaged! They knew they were in love when they realized how much they loved to be together and hang out every single day and not get tired of it!
How He Asked
Ryker proposed by creating a Wheel of Fortune game at a ward prayer activity. They both served in the same ward prayer director calling and had actually met at a ward prayer. Ryker planned the game and the last phrase to guess was “Krista, will you marry me?” He then had a chocolate fountain and Martenelli’s for everyone to share in a surprise engagement party!
Krista and Ryker are absolutely adorable. Their favorite thing to do together is go out to eat (YES! ME TOO!). Krista says it is literally her favorite activity in life (don’t you love her?). They also love watching The Office and laughing their butts off HAHA! Thanks for letting me be a part of this amazing Utah State Capitol formal session my loves!
