Utah Valley Bride Magazine Feature

If you are planning a wedding in Utah, then please let me have the honor in pointing you in the direction of the Utah Valley Bride Magazine. From wedding inspiration and trends to vendors and experts, the Utah Valley Bride magazine is a wealth of information, and their annual issue is now available! 🤗

This is truly my go-to magazine for brides, but it’s not the only reason I’m sharing it with you. With their new edition going live, it made me reflect on their last year’s edition and a wedding they featured– one of MINE!

Utah Valley Bride Magazine Feature

Last year, I had the honor of capturing the Taheri destination wedding. From the moment I showed up on their wedding day and saw Frances in her dress — I just knew this would be a wedding I wanted to submit. Everything, and I mean everything, screamed FEATURE ME.

From her stunning wedding dress that had a “train of royal porportions” and Alex (the groom) in his “James Bond” suit to the adorable ring bearer — their pup (insert awe 😍), the bouquets and even the shoes; Frances’ attention to detail was absolutely perfect. This wedding needed to be in all the bridal magazines… or at least one.

In the age of digital, I knew I could submit it to several online publications but I wanted it to be printed and so I headed straight for my go-to — Utah Valley Bride Magazine.

I don’t think there are words that are adequate enough to explain how I felt when the submission was accepted. I was giddy and excited for sure, and I couldn’t wait to see which of the images they chose to share the love story of Frances and Alex and their beautiful day.

It may be a little biased, but I think they did a perfect job choosing the ones they did to show just how classy, elegant, and timeless the Taheri wedding was.

Their Love Story in a Nutshell

Frances and Alex met at a nightclub in Brooklyn, New York called House of Yes. The club was known for their “theme nights” and Frances went all out dressed as a unicorn. Yep, they met when she was dressed as a unicorn! After their first date to a barbecue, they became inseparable.

After escaping the New York COVID craziness to Maine to work remote, Frances’ sister convinced her to go for a walk in the middle of the day where Alex’s speech went completely out the window. He did manage to say, “You know I love you so much, right?” before asking her to marry him.

A Montage Deer Valley Wedding

So how did they choose to have a destination wedding in Utah? After being in Maine for a bit, they decided to move on to Park City, where they fell in love with the idea of a Utah mountain wedding.

The Utah Valley Bride magazine couldn’t have worded it any better. They wrote, “Alex and Frances’ love story started in the city, blossomed in the mountains, and continues in sunny Florida where they [reside] in a home by the beach”.

*Sigh.*

And now, I’m so excited to share Frances and Alex’s wedding that Utah Valley Bride Magazine featured. I hope you it gives you all the Utah mountain wedding inspo you need!

XO,

Brooke
