Utah Valley Bride Fall Editorial
Today, I’m sharing photos from a fall editorial I had the opportunity to be a part of with Utah Valley Bride last year!
This editorial was a ton of fun. It was filled with warmth and wonder — perfect for the bride and groom who crave both uptown elegance and small town charm.
“Crisp, airy and effervescent — these incredible images from Brooke Bakken Photography are both timeless and on trend (our forever favorite combination).” -Utah Valley Bride
Thanks for the sweet words, UVB!
About the Fall Editorial
Every now and again, I get to work with other wedding vendors in Utah to create editorials that are tailored to our style and needs. There are so many wonderful people I have gotten to know and love to work with from editorials. I have found good friends that I now refer my brides to with ease because I have gotten to know them, seen their work and know they will deliver an amazing experience to my #BrookesBrides.
Brianna, the lovely editor of Utah Valley Bride Magazine, reached out and asked if I would be willing to shoot the fall editorial for their 2018 bridal issue. It was an obvious yes from the start, but when I discovered the vendors involved, it was a jumping up and down kind of yes!
Tressa from Cultivated Events (linked below) is incredibly creative!! I was extremely excited about her choice of color palette choice and where we would be shooting the gorgeous fall editorial.
Special Details
I had never met the couple involved, but when Amanda and her husband showed up my heart totally skipped a beat. Not only are they drop dead gorgeous, but they had that yummy, romantic chemistry during the entire shoot, which made my job super easy!
Okay, and let’s talk about these flowers. You guys- Marianne (linked below) is hands down one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE florists. She is so dang creative. All of her bouquets have so much texture and no bouquet is ever the same. I adored all of the flowers she used in this fall editorial. To be honest, this entire shoot felt like a dream! I mean, come on- there was even a dog involved!
So much heart went into this shoot and it was soooo good for my creative soul. I am so grateful Utah Valley Bride not only asked me to shoot this editorial, but they also trusted my artistic eye. There were no requirements from them for the shoot. All I had to do was show up and do my thing!
I am so thrilled with how this fall editorial turned out and am ecstatic to finally be sharing it with you on the blog today. Enjoy!!
