Has anyone been up the canyons lately? I LOVE heading up in the winter, especially after a snowfall (definitely not DURING…driving in the snow chicken here). The pine trees dusted with a light
layer of powder flanked by tall snow-capped peaks? Perfection. Which is why I am so excited to share these winter engagement photos of Jane & Chris with you! These two are so stinking adorable and felt so comfortable in front of the camera…it was like I wasn’t even there. I love both of their outfit choices (isn’t her dress to DIE for) and the way he kept whispering in her ear, making that gorgeous smile of hers even wider and her eyes all sparkly. Even though it was FREEZING, it still made me all melty inside to see the two of them interact.
Their Love Story
Jane and Chris first met at their orientation at BYU-Idaho (so they are no strangers to the cold). Jane says she really believes she fell in love with him on their first date, even though it took her a few months to actually realize it! It was just a super fun date and they clicked. They have been having a blast together for over two years now and never get bored! Jane says she can’t wait to spend her forever with Chris. It makes her giddy just thinking about it!
How He Asked
Last year on New Year’s Eve, Chris took Jane up to a romantic dinner at Cheesecake Factory (yum!). They then walked around Temple Square which was all lit up with beautiful Christmas lights. He then took her to his “work party” (uh huh), and it actually ended up being his proposal. Jane was SO surprised and excited! Good job, Chris.
I adore these two lovebirds and feel so blessed they asked me to join them for these snowy winter engagement photos!
XOXO
