I am so grateful for my family and feel so blessed for the support they offer me. Without them,  this dream would have never happened.  I love photography with all my heart, and love the emotion you can feel from just one single image.  I hope that as I share my photo journey with you, you will be able to feel all the love and emotions that are present. 2+4=Beauties!! {Utah Family Photographer}

It’s been a while since I posted a family session here on the blog! With wedding season in full force, having a family session was so much fun! It was a reminder of what good marriages, and lasting love leads to: beautiful families! Julie’s family is no exception! I loved our time together, and love how unique each on of her children are. There is a lot of love and laughter that follows this family, and I was so grateful to be a part of it for an evening! Here is just a little taste of their beautiful family!

Mr. Vegas {Utah Senior Portrait Photographer}

Michael is such a good sport! I think it just might be a guy code, that they don’t like to take pictures, but Mr. Vegas was a trooper, and I promised him it would be quick and painless :) Hopefully I held up my end of the bargain, but I love what we came away with from our time together. Michael played football for my husband this last fall, and I love getting to know his players off the field a bit. I can tell Michael’s true love is football. To see the change in his personality when he changed from street clothes to his football uniform was a complete 180. He started off a bit shy, but as soon as the cleats were on and the helmet was in his hand, it’s like he was “home”.  Here is just a sneak peek of a few images from that day, with plenty more to come!!

Ms. J Crew {Utah Senior Portrait Photographer}

I had THE most amazing session last night! Got home late, but absolutely had to look through what we got, looking turned to editing, I just couldn’t help myself! I have NO idea how I am even going to choose a favorite from last night!! Here is just a couple that we got. Ali, is without a BABE, but so sweet, intelligent, humble and modest (like incredibly modest!) that her hotness factor is through the roof!! ADORE HER!!! All American {Utah Wedding Photographer}

If you look at these two beautiful people, what comes to mind? I immediately think “All American” couple. They both are absolutely beautiful, BUT more importantly, they are both so incredibly sweet, genuine, and kind hearted. They embody what every photographer dreams of; beauty inside and out.I love the way they play and laugh, and I love the way they look at one another. True love at it’s finest.

One of the best parts about my job, is meeting new people. I did not know Eden or Ryan before our session, nor were they referred to me by any past client. But we came out of that session as if we all grew up in CA and went to high school together and were BFF’s!! Let’s face it, Ryan looks like he belongs in a Hurley, Quicksilver or Billabong ad, and Eden could model for Roxy. BAM!! Match made in heaven :)

Eden, thank you for giving me the opportunity to be just a small part in your celebration! I love you both and can’t wait for you to marry your prince charming at the end of this month! XOXO

Happy One Week!! {Utah Wedding Photographer}

Lindsey + Tanner- Engagements {Utah Wedding Photographer}

1+1=1 {Utah Wedding Photographer}

I love the title of my post today!! (That rarely happens….I never feel creative enough….good thing I don’t write books eh??) When it comes to Victoria and Matt, or actually marriage in general, this equation is what comes to mind. You are two individual people combining to make one awesome couple. You are no longer two singles, that happen to live together and have a life together. You go from talking about me or I, to we or us. For some that is easier than others. I know for a fact, for Victoria and Matt, this will be a piece of cake. The way they treat each other, the way Matt looked at his beautiful bride, they no doubt, put each other first, and care deeply for one another. I know they will go so far in this life together and I cannot wait to celebrate their eternal love this Friday!! They were glowing when they saw each other, but the heat will be turned up a notch or two, once they walk out of those temple doors husband and wife! I feel so blessed I get to witness their love, and capture it for them to look back on years from now!!

Bump NOT Plump!!

I guess it’s time to let the internet world know that, I am in fact, with child!! Michael and I couldn’t be more excited (or nervous) to expand our little family! I feel incredibly blessed to be able to bring another special little one to this world, and so grateful to be trusted with such a special gift. It is so weird to think that we will now be a family of four plus one crazy cat known as “Moose”! I absolutely LOVE being a mom, and I am so proud of the little boy that Brady is. I love his temper tantrums, his obsession with Buzz Lightyear, his love for food, his infectious laugh, his determination, the way his cheeks jiggle when he runs, and I can’t wait to see the personality this next one brings to our home. My only wish, besides a healthy baby, is that he or she is ready to play, and wrestle. B likes to go hard until the moment his little head hits the bed! He is 100 mph a minute, but that is what I love about him. There is never a dull moment, and I can’t wait to see him use that energy in sports.  I will wear my soccer, t-ball, or whatever other sport he plays “mom badge” proudly!

Ok back to the matter at hand….I am going to be a mom to two kiddos!! Wild! Brady is going to be a big brother, but I don’t think he has a clue yet. He will soon find out that there will be a new boss or sheriff in town. Luckily, I know he plays well with others and shares (for the most part) because of his wonderful sitter Lyn, and the time he spends at daycare. Hopefully that can translate over to mommy holding a new baby. I hope he will love to help and be a big boy, and show the new one the ropes as time goes by! Brady has honestly been such an amazing little boy to be around, and if this next one is half as cool, we will be the luckiest parents!

Cannot wait to meet our new addition September 23!!

I just want to thank my mom for helping me and capturing such a fun time right now. Brady was in a HORRID mood, but she braved it with me anyway, and kept snapping away even when the tears started to pour down, and no bribe in the world could make them stop! I love you mom!! You are the best! We loved having you here with us!

Don’t Mind Me {Utah Engagement Photographer}

Victoria and Matt, simply have eyes for each other, and I couldn’t be more excited about it! I LOVED their session because it was all about THEM. How they love each other, how they interact, how Matt gets Victoria to smile and play. I felt as if I was a “fly on the wall” during their session, and I was so grateful for that! I loved just watching them be them. I gave them little instruction, rarely posed them, just let them do their thing, and we created MAGIC! I cannot wait to see what we create on their wedding day!! XO

Romance {Utah Wedding Photographer}

These two just make me smile! I am so excited that the next time I see them together, they will be MARRIED!! April 21st is just around the corner, and I can’t wait to see those smiles on their faces, knowing they are married for time and eternity! We took some groomals last week, and I cannot stop looking at them on my computer. Their smiles are so genuine and I love watching the way Trammel melts when he looks at Jen (and let’s get real who can blame him??) This is just a small taste of more goodness to come!!
