It was a crazy hot Saturday in August, not a cloud in the sky, and I was so privileged to watch Ashley and Derek walk out of the Salt Lake City LDS Temple as husband and wife! After promising an eternity to one another, their exit made everyone cheer for joy and pure excitement (myself included)! Their smiles were as bright as the sun was that day, but really who could blame them?! The day you marry your best friend, your better half, the person who promises to love you unconditionally through thick and thin, is a GREAT day!
Just to give you a little insight into who these two are together, their “theme” of their love story is “Exponentially the Luckiest”!! How cute is THAT? Each of them thinking they are the lucky one. But really we all know they are both equally lucky to have found true love. It is perfectly clear that these two were meant for one another, and even MORE clear that they couldn’t be more in love! The way they smile, the way they lean into one another, and the gentle way they hold hands as they walk around temple grounds as husband and wife, puts a smile widely across my face!
Ashley and Derek then celebrated with friends and family at the BEAUTIFUL Alpine Art Center in an outdoor garden, that was absolutely breathtaking! The florals accented the already beautiful grounds, the fresh blush satin linens set the mood for class and elegance, and the Ice cream sandwiches were the perfect treat on a hot day! They greeted their guests and as time passed by they were able to feel the love everyone had for them and the support they received for their marriage was undeniable! As the night wrapped up, and they danced their hearts out, we snuck away before their grand exit to have just one more moment just the two of them with a GORGEOUS vintage car! It was the cherry on top of an incredible day!
Ashley and Derek it has been an incredible honor to get to know each of you, your families and those you choose to be friends with! Your light radiates in one another and I can’t wait to watch that multiply in the years to come.
