Kate + James Wedding

Kate and James climbed into the red Jeep (Aka, Jake the Jeep) as they got ready to leave their wedding reception. This was the same red Jeep that James drove in High school, the same Jeep that he had picked Kate up in for many of their dates and through Utah Valley on many adventures. They quickly became friends in High School and their first date was to homecoming together, and James, like the smart man he is, pursued Kate through the remaining of senior year. It came time for college and they continued to date all the way up until James left for 2 years to serve a church mission in New York. The wrote letters while he was gone and then when he came home, Kate decided she wanted to serve a church mission as well. So then it was James turn to write Kate while she was away in Switzerland on her mission. Needless to say, things picked up right where it seems they left off when she came home last December.

Seeing these families together seemed like they were old friends. Which makes sense, because they are! They had watched their son and daughter go on dates and hang out throughout the years. The knew each other well and everyone agreed that Kate felt like part of the family long before the wedding day itself! What a beautiful day to celebrate with Kate and James. They had the best wedding team around from the stunning flowers, the gorgeous venue at Wadley Farms, a lively DJ, fun videographers and wonderful planner Holly. This was a dream team if I have known one!

Congrats you guys! I wish you both many more years of happiness to come!
