Today on the blog, I am sharing Kelli and Zach’s romantic engagement session in beautiful Smithville, New Jersey. Can we first just acknowledge how fun it is that their last name is SMITH, and we shot IN Smithville? I LOVE IT!
Effortlessly Beautiful
Most brides plan a wedding in 12-18 months to leave plenty of time for engagement sessions, save the dates, etc. But when you opt for a quicker (9 month engagement), sometimes that means you’ll be shooting your engagement session in an “In between” season.
That’s TOTALLY ok, as long as your photographer knows how to find good light and a great neutral location. Lucky for Kelli and Zach, I found both!
A Romantic Engagement Session in New Jersey
New Jersey, in March, isn’t known for it’s beauty. You can get rain, snow or unbearably cold wind. But on Kelli and Zach’s romantic engagement session day, we found sunshine!
Honestly Kelli and Zach are the perfect pair. They compliment each other, he is definitely the yin to her yang, and that transferred on film.
To be honest, I love when my clients do the work for me, and these two did just that. I literally just showed up with my camera and they took care of the rest.
Kelli and Zach totally lost themselves to one another the whole dang time and I am so thrilled that I was the one who got to capture the chemistry.
