This romantic, English-inspired, golden hour bridal session at Thanksgiving Point here in Utah will have you craving a cup of afternoon tea in no time!
One of my favorite things about working in the wedding industry is the fact that I get to connect and work with so many incredible vendors! Some of my favorite wedding experiences have come from referrals. Speaking of which, I met Amanda and William after a sweet referral from my videographer friend Chris McClain. I’m so excited to tell you all about their session, AKA Amada’s English-inspired dress!
Amanda LOVES England. In fact, she served her LDS mission in England! When she came back, she could not find the dress she dreamed of wearing on her wedding day- an English-inspired, duchess-like dress. That being said, she took matters into her own hands and met with a local custom wedding dress designer here in Utah- Betsy Barker. During Amanda and William’s session, a woman commented that Amanda looked like Mary Poppins. Mary freaking Poppins, people! But really, the dress was EVERYTHING Amanda desired and more. Betsy did an incredible job!
Amanda and William’s session seriously felt like it took place in England. Not only did Amanda have the English-inspired dress of her dreams, but the fact that they chose Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving Point really amped up those English vibes. And don’t even get me started on Amanda’s bouquet! Her beautiful bridal bouquet was beautifully designed by one of her friends, Mary Stuart.
HAPPY WEDDING DAY, AMANDA AND WILLIAM!!
