Today on the blog, I am sharing a super helpful wedding week checklist, and Daniel and Danielle’s beautiful wedding day, too!

Congrats! Wedding Week Has Arrived!

After months — maybe even a year or two — of planning, it’s finally the week of your wedding! What a great feeling, am I right?!

Your vendors are confirmed, your gorgeous wedding gown is ready, all the decor has been rented or purchased. Pat yourself on the back, sis!!

All that’s left are the little things! Let’s take a look at that wedding week checklist!

Your Wedding Week Checklist

Meet with Your Planner or Day-Of Coordinator. Go over any and every last detail of the big day- one more time and confirm your day-of timeline! Whatever it takes to make sure you don’t have to worry about a thing come the day of your wedding, your planner will surely do it!

Finalize Your Seating Chart. Most of your RSVPs will be in by this point, so take the time to finalize the seating chart (if you are using one) and then get a copy of it over to your planner!

Break in Your Shoes. Chances are, your shoes are brand new and you’ll be wearing them the majority of your big day. Be sure to wear them around a little bit each day beforehand.

Assign Someone to Grab Your Leftover Dinner, Cake, Gifts, Decorations, and Bridal Bouquet. Designate a family member or close friend to ensure everything that belongs to you gets taken home. In addition, if you plan to preserve your bouquet, make sure whoever is in charge of doing so knows what to do and has what they need to do it.

Make Sure You Have a Gameplan for Cleanup. Venues can be very particular about their cleanup policies. Be sure you familiarize yourself with your venue’s policy and communicate it to those who are going to help clean up after you and your spouse have your special exit! The more everyone knows and is told ahead of time, the easier cleanup will be.

Practice Your Vows. If you are handwriting your vows, practice reading them at a slow and steady pace until you feel confident. Chances are, you’ll be much more emotional come the big day and will be glad you practiced beforehand.

Stay Hydrated. As you are running around to get all the last-minute to-dos done, be sure to drink PLENTY of water.

Pack for Your Honeymoon and Confirm Your Exit Game Plan. Make sure you designate someone (typically a groomsman or the Best Man) to drive your car around or call you an Uber for the exit. Whether you are leaving for your honeymoon the night of your wedding or the morning after, go ahead and pack so that you do not have to worry about anything after the wedding except for being in each other’s arms!

BREATHE! This is it, you’re almost there! Take some time to do something for yourself to help relieve all the stress. Get a massage, do some yoga, watch your favorite movie with your hubby-to-be.
