I met Shane and Rachael through a previous bride and groom, Craig and Jessica (you can browse their gallery here), and Craig was actually the officiant for this beautiful citrus summer wedding! It’s always fun to see past couples at weddings and it’s honestly such a sweet reminder of how much of a part I get in their big days.
This citrus summer wedding was held in the middle of the day, because Rachael loves all things breakfast and brunch, and I LOVED that she decided to go against the “norm” and do what she really wanted. In the 12 years that I’ve been capturing weddings, this has been the only time that I’ve ever done one in the middle of the day.
And if you thought that the timeframe would keep people from having a great time, you would be wrong. The dance floor was full, mimosa’s and orange crush’s were flowing and everyone had such an amazing time.
The Venue
Shane and Rachael’s Citrus summer wedding was held at Everly in Tuckahoe, New Jersey. This historic railroad village was the perfect location for their wedding. It was originally a feed barn, but looking at it now, it’s got the best vintage and chic vibe.
